AddWallet crucial updates
Due to the ongoing fraudulent activity, we have been forced to implement some harsh security features this weekend. For the safety of all our members accounts we have added new layers of security within the system. Due to that many of you might not be able to log into your accounts right now.
This is the reason: if you are logging into more than 2 accounts from your IP address, you have been logged out of the system. This feature will be turned back off this afternoon. After 6pm today you should be able to access your account again.
We had to take this step for two reasons: stacking and hacking!
Stacking and hacking have become a real issues. Due to the sophistication of hackers worldwide our new security firm has advised us to put in deeper security measures.
The number one item you as a member need to do immediately is change your AddWallet password and make sure your STP or Payza information is correct in your back office.
We have also found out that hundreds of members have had their emails hacked. You need to clean this up as soon as possible. Change your password for your email as well. NEVER use the same password for your email, that you are using for your AddWallet account!!! If you loose control over your email you will have to get a new email address. Once a hacker has access to your email, you are at the mercy of the hacker. You might not have even noticed that somebody is logging into your email right now, so please: change your email password to protect yourself and your funds. Fix this today and do not wait....!
In regards to stacking you have to understand that we get paid by large advertising companies depending on traffic. These advertising companies do not pay companies like ours when the traffic for multiple accounts is coming from the same location. Per our Terms and Conditions it is against company policy to run someone else’s business and watch their ads for them. If you continue to do this, your membership will be at risk. This activity is harmful to the company and it’s revenues and we have to make sure we protect your and our earnings.
If you are forced to “manage” more than one or two accounts, please reach out to us and we will decide on a case by case basis, how we can help you to stay compliant.
Please make sure you act responsibly and check the information within your account frequently. Be very careful for misspellings within your email, your Payza and STP information. Hackers are smart, we want you to be smarter!
When you receive the withdrawal request email, DO NOT approve it, if you did not request a withdrawal! DO NOT approve it, if the payment processor information in the email is wrong or missing! Please make sure you double- and triple check everything at all times!
ADDWallet is working to protect your accounts and funds. Our security firm has advised us NOT to send out an email in regards to this ahead of time. We are doing all we can to stop the fraudulent activity so we decided to follow their instructions.
